Joke from 2010 that aged not-so-good.
Peace, love, trippy music and psychonautics (exploring new modes of consciousness) are a lifestyle worth striving for.
Information technology and cybernetics (self-operational machines) are the necessary enabler for a new lifestyle.
A complete re-systematization of all knowledge and perspectives is necessary, on a new hypertextual substrate (beyond text, see middlemachine). This ensures a focus on replicability but also post-privilege.

method of time keeping.
time is not objective, but subjective.
it's not fixed to 24 hours.
it's also decimal.
when you (/should) wake up, it's 0.0, when you (/should) go to bed, it's 1.0.
when you sleep, time doesn't exist (or is relative to 0 or 1, like -0.15).
".1" corresponds to roughly 1.5 hours.
".01" corresponds to roughly 1 minute.
"0.001", or "tick", corresponds to roughly a 50% faster second.

Both terms have to do with obscuring attribution & (misdirected) use of potential or power.
Considered especially in relation to technology.
The two terms & two core meanings don't clearly map onto each other, so usually used together.

Dilution is primarily "A":
dilutes the original meaning, to make it palatable to different audiences with different value systems.
it critically damages the terms, but is motivated from personal gain of the diluters

Cooption is primarily "B":
cooption is motivated to erode the meaning of the terms, specifically to boost an opposing value system, at the price of originator system

antagonistic utilization and spread of non-original ideas and terms, without attribution, without loyalty to original meaning
→ newly exposed people will have wrong attribution ideas
    → will boost the diluter
→ might cause even problems for source in the future

Infrastructure is the set of fundamental facilities and systems that support the sustainable functionality of households and firms. Serving a country, city, or other area,[1] including the services and facilities necessary for its economy to function.[2] Infrastructure is composed of public and private physical structures such as roads, railways, bridges, tunnels, water supply, sewers, electrical grids, and telecommunications (including Internet connectivity and broadband access). In general, infrastructure has been defined as "the physical components of interrelated systems providing commodities and services essential to enable, sustain, or enhance societal living conditions" and maintain the surrounding environment.[3]

(experience of 20220512)
contrary to what they might cook up
as liberalized/libertarianized "precariat" from the "creative industries":
"comrade" is not the same as "coworker" or "buddy",
    as post-socialist youth:
"comrade" is not a way to refer to primary school profs in position of authority,

Being a comrade implies both a shared destination & material conditions, and addressing/relating to a person as such, with that in mind.

Platonov (via Wark): "We are comrades when we share the same dangers"

But communism is poverty in Platonov, on the border where life just barely exists. It is a sharing of poverty rather than wealth. Only those who share the same dangers can be comrades. The sheer disorganizing materiality of the world wears away at life and labor, shredding the myth to tatters, and yet it endures.

i can't imagine comradeship withhout
1—common destiny
2—mutual understanding about that, and the mutual understanding, there is a mutual understanding (and that there needs to be)
3—consequently, mandatory material integration

what you described is a mix of tolerance (less than friendship) and friendship (less than comradeship)
(regarding): "hmmm, comradeship ... sincere friendship ... irregads tha we have different convictions, we can still cooperate, respect each other, and love each other"

encouraging and building comradeship is thus not something coming out of "intepersonal tolerance" (that is a liberal project), but by breeding awareness of general embeddedness, of the totality (that is a feminist and socialist project, and also a project of everyone smoking weed)
(SLO)spodbujanje tovarištva torej ni nekaj, kar pride preko medsebojne tolerance (to je liberalen projekt), ampak preko zavedanja vsepovezanosti (to je feminističen in socialističen projekt, pa tud projekt vseh ki pohamo)

If you want a good theory of fascism, you should read Lukacs on Hegel and the Nazis - you need some kind of racial suprematism and imperialist tendency, otherwise its just authoritarianism which comes in many flavors.

Fascism may be defined as a form of political behavior marked by obsessive preoccupation with community decline, humiliation, or victim- hood and by compensatory cults of unity, energy, and purity, in which a mass-based party of committed nationalist militants, working in uneasy but effective collaboration with traditional elites, abandons democratic liberties and pursues with redemptive violence and without ethical or legal restraints goals of internal cleansing and external expansion.

But the anti-authoritarians demand that the political state be abolished at one stroke, even before the social conditions that gave birth to it have been destroyed. They demand that the first act of the social revolution shall be the abolition of authority. Have these gentlemen ever seen a revolution? A revolution is certainly the most authoritarian thing there is; it is the act whereby one part of the population imposes its will upon the other part by means of rifles, bayonets and cannon — authoritarian means, if such there be at all; and if the victorious party does not want to have fought in vain, it must maintain this rule by means of the terror which its arms inspire in the reactionists.

the paradox of authoritarian
I consider myself an "anti-authoritarian", but I have no problem in using force to crush the bourgeoisie and its state, and even executing their most abhorrent members.

Obligation is an act or course of action to which a person is morally or legally bound; a duty or commitment.
Responsibility is the state or fact of having a duty to deal with something or of having control over someone

“I have never really understood exactly what a ‘liberal’ is, since I have heard ‘liberals’ express every conceivable opinion on every conceivable subject. As far as I can tell, you have the extreme right, who are fascist racist capitalist dogs like Ronald Reagan, who come right out and let you know where they’re coming from. And on the opposite end, you have the left, who are supposed to be committed to justice, equality, and human rights. And somewhere between those two points is the liberal.
As far as I’m concerned, ‘liberal’ is the most meaningless word in the dictionary. History has shown me that as long as some white middle-class people can live high on the hog, take vacations to Europe, send their children to private schools, and reap the benefits of their white skin privilege, then they are ‘liberal’. But when times get hard and money gets tight, they pull off that liberal mask and you think you’re talking to Adolf Hitler. They feel sorry for the so-called underprivileged just as long as they can maintain their own privileges.”

also "propositional vs dispositional knowledge"

Tacit knowledge or implicit knowledge—as opposed to formal, codified or explicit knowledge—is knowledge that is difficult to express or extract; therefore it is more difficult to transfer to others by means of writing it down or verbalizing it. This can include motor skills, personal wisdom, experience, insight, and intuition.[1]

holism (vs totalism)

holism = all, but no totalising
totalising is a dynamic towards a totality
* a "whole" of items you bought in a shop is different from a "totality" of the summa
that is only totalising towards a totality of that whole!
(organizing between fridge, etc, is another)
(... as are more complex and higher-order totalities, including abstract representations, like keeping bills, inventory, etc)
* democracy is a totalism:
you take a whole (of population, voting body)
you find a way to totalize, tally the will of that multitude, into some sort of a functional political organisim / will

brandolini's law

Brandolini's law, also known as the bullshit asymmetry principle, is an internet adage that emphasizes the difficulty of debunking false, facetious, or otherwise misleading information:[1] "The amount of energy needed to refute bullshit is an order of magnitude larger than is needed to produce it."[2][3]

——— take 1

"Ni neideoloških pozicij, to je utvara, ki se uporablja za diskreditacijo tistih, ki kritizirajo obstoječe stanje. Če nekaj označiš kot ideološko in sebe kot neideološkega, je to najbolj ideološka stvar, ki jo lahko narediš. Pozicija neideološkosti je pozicija, ki zagovarja obstoječe stanje."
There are no "non-ideological" positions, that's a simulacrum used to discredit those who criticize the present condition. Labeling something as "ideological" and yourself as "non-ideological", is the most ideological thing you can do. The position of being "non-ideoligical" is a position of entrenching (speaking for) the status quo.

——— take 2

"Ideology is an incredibly complex term, in that sense should probably be evaded by not only laypeople but also scholars outside of their own discourses."
Marxist ideology = scheme of distortions to maintain hegemony (but also has competing definitions)

labor aristrocacy

In Marxist theory, those workers (proletarians) in the developed countries who benefit from the superprofits extracted from the impoverished workers of developing countries form an "aristocracy of labor". The phrase was popularized by Karl Kautsky in 1901 and theorized by Vladimir Lenin in his treatise Imperialism, the Highest Stage of Capitalism. According to Lenin, companies in the developed world exploit workers in the developing world where wages are much lower.[1] The increased profits enable these companies to pay higher wages to their employees "at home" (that is, in the developed world), thus creating a working class satisfied with their standard of living and not inclined to proletarian revolution.

opium wars

The primary origin of the Opium War was that besides intensive trading in Chinese products such as silks, porcelain and tea and merchants from the United Kingdom finding the business lucrative, there arose a huge problem since the Chinese failed to reciprocate the trade by failing to purchase products from the United Kingdom in return. The United Kingdom suffers from a huge trade deficit during the Sino-British trade. Meanwhile, the high tariff made the British government very dissatisfied with the Qing government. The Chinese only allowed silver in exchange for the products they were offering. A significant amount of this commodity was leaving the British Empire. The British tradesmen, therefore, smuggled opium into China and demanded silver in exchange, and these sales covered the entire tea trade.

An autopoietic system is a system that produces and reproduces its own elements as well as its own structures (Luhmann, 2012, p. 32). Wallerstein characterizes the world system as a set of mechanisms, which redistributes surplus value from the periphery to the core. In his terminology, the core is the developed, industrialized part of the world, and the periphery is the "underdeveloped", typically raw materials-exporting, poor part of the world; the market being the means by which the core exploits the periphery.

strong #totalism / #hyperecology elements [!→]
World-systems thinkers include Oliver Cox, Samir Amin, Giovanni Arrighi, Andre Gunder Frank, and Immanuel Wallerstein, with major contributions by Christopher Chase-Dunn, Beverly Silver, Volker Bornschier, Janet Abu Lughod, Thomas D. Hall, Li Minqi, Kunibert Raffer, Theotonio dos Santos, Dale Tomich, Jason W. Moore and others.[2] In sociology, a primary alternative perspective is World Polity Theory, as formulated by John W. Meyer.[citation needed]

World-systems theory has attracted criticisms from its rivals; notably for being too focused on economy and not enough on culture and for being too core-centric and state-centric.[2] William I. Robinson has criticized world-systems theory for its nation-state centrism, state-structuralist approach, and its inability to conceptualize the rise of globalization.[45] Robinson suggests that world-systems theory doesn't account for emerging transnational social forces and the relationships forged between them and global institutions serving their interests.[45] These forces operate on a global, rather than state system and cannot be understood by Wallerstein's nation-centered approach.[45]

Kaj sploh delajo tam?

social imperialism (Mao)

A concept that we can perceive as critique and mostly as renewal is the concept of coloniality (Anibal Quijano, 2000, Nepantla, Coloniality of power, eurocentrism and Latin America).[47] Issued from the think tank of the group "modernity/coloniality" (es:Grupo modernidad/colonialidad)
in Latin America, it re-uses the concept of world working division and
core/periphery system in its system of coloniality. But criticizing the
"core-centric" origin of World-system and its only economical
development, "coloniality" allows further conception of how power still
processes in a colonial way over worldwide populations (Ramon Grosfogel,
 "the epistemic decolonial turn" 2007):[48]
"by 'colonial situations' I mean the cultural, political, sexual,
spiritual, epistemic and economic oppression/exploitation of subordinate
racialized/ethnic groups by dominant racialized/ethnic groups with or
without the existence of colonial administration". Coloniality covers,
so far, several fields such as coloniality of gender (Maria Lugones),[49] coloniality of "being" (Maldonado Torres), coloniality of knowledge (Walter Mignolo) and Coloniality of power (Anibal Quijano).

"security dilemma"
Putin 2022

In international relations, the security dilemma (also referred to as the spiral model) is when the increase in one state's security (such as increasing its military strength) leads other states to fear for their own security (because they do not know if the security-increasing state intends to use its growing military for offensive purposes).[1] Consequently, security-increasing measures can lead to tensions, escalation or conflict with one or more other parties, producing an outcome which no party truly desires.[2][1][3][4][5]

Dialectical materialism

Dialectics = interconnected and interrelated as cause and effect. Materialism = objective reality exists outside the mind with a life of its own. Dialectical materialism as a philosophy addresses the universal interconnectedness of reality. Conscious dialectics understand phenomena in their environment, history, stages of development, transformation, correspondence and causal relations.
Dialectical materialism was born of the generalization of scientific achievement, human activity in production and building more complex societies, which showed that social life and human consciousness, like nature itself, are in a state of motion, change, transformation, and development, punctuated by leaps and the achievement of new qualities of things based on negation. Negation means the incorporation of certain aspects of the old in the new. Therefore, the new is always connected to the old.

In this respect, it shares aspects of its philosophical approach with those of realism and pragmatism. It is often simply referred to as "pragmatism" in politics, e.g. "pursuing pragmatic policies" or "realistic policies".

Jurisprudence, or legal theory, is the theoretical study of the propriety of law. Scholars of jurisprudence seek to explain the nature of law in its most general form and provide a deeper understanding of legal reasoning and analogy, legal systems, legal institutions, and the proper application and role of law in society.[1]
Modern jurisprudence began in the 18th century and was focused on the first principles of natural law, civil law, and the law of nations.[2] General jurisprudence can be divided into categories both by the type of question scholars seek to answer and by the theories of jurisprudence, or schools of thought, regarding how those questions are best answered. Contemporary philosophy of law, which deals with general jurisprudence, addresses problems internal to law and legal systems and problems of law as a social institution that relates to the larger political and social context in which it exists.[3]

enactivism / enaction

Enactivism is a position in cognitive science that argues that cognition arises through a dynamic interaction between an acting organism and its environment.[1] It claims that the environment of an organism is brought about, or enacted, by the active exercise of that organism's sensorimotor processes
The term 'enactivism' is close in meaning to 'enaction', defined as "the manner in which a subject of perception creatively matches its actions to the requirements of its situation".

Veblen defines "ceremonial" as related to the past, supportive of "tribal legends" or traditional conserving attitudes and conduct; while the "instrumental" orients itself toward the technological imperative, judging value by the ability to control future consequences.[57]
The theory suggests that, although every society depends on tools and skills to support the life process, every society also appears to have a "ceremonial" stratified structure of status that runs contrary to the needs of the "instrumental" (technological) aspects of group life.[58] The Veblen Dichotomy is still very relevant today and can be applied to thinking around digital transformation.[59]

capital goods

Capital goods are one of the three types of producer goods, the other two being land and labour. [3] The three are also known collectively as "primary factors of production".[3] This classification originated during the classical economics period and has remained the dominant method for classification.
People buy capital goods to use as static resources to make other goods, whereas consumer goods are purchased to be consumed.
For example, an automobile is a consumer good when purchased as a private car.
Dump trucks used in manufacturing or construction are capital goods because companies use them to build things like roads, dams, buildings, and bridges.

vs ###

“Tailism in any type of work is also wrong, because in falling     below the level of political consciousness of the masses and violating the principle     of leading the masses forward it reflects the disease of dilatoriness. Our comrades     must not assume that the masses have no understanding of what they themselves do      not yet understand. It often happens that the masses outstrip us and are eager to     advance a step when our comrades are still tailing behind certain backward elements,     for instead of acting as leaders of the masses such comrades reflect the views of     these backward elements and, moreover, mistake them for those of the broad masses.”     —Mao, “On Coalition Government” (April 24, 1945), Selected Works, vol. 3,     p. 316.

Ray (geometry)

Given a line and any point A on it, we may consider A as decomposing this line into two parts. Each such part is called a ray and the point A is called its initial point. It is also known as half-line, a one-dimensional half-space.
