¶*** (2) How does CHT relate to prefigurative anarcho-communist projects? Does CHT think to forego the need for a dictatorship of the proletariat?

(2022-08-09: In response to a comment on the discussion 🔗channel, attempting to relate CHT with Rojava, Chiapas)

As I understand, Rojava, Chiapas and other communes establish prefigurative anarcho-communist / autonomist societies, taking territorial power, and attempt to keep it against all forms of reactionary vectors (external/internal, direct/proxy, military/culturally revanchist, by class interest/by particular ignorance, etc).

Meanwhile, CHT attempts to find/assemble/complete/instantiate/document new institutional tactics, that work opt-in alongside the bourgeois state and other actors, and though opportunistic, are systematic in the relation to them. CHT secures a stock of own means of reproduction and production (focusing to accomplish it with minimum effort) — in this sense it is mutualist, but does not end there. Simply put, the goal is to offer sets of clear, accessible and effective (re)production patterns directly to the vanguard, so to not waste away in the capitalist labour form. Infrastructures replicable in both time (→continue the CHT project), and scale (→assist new instances of the model).
This is in contrast to communities (including a lot of existing anarchistic prefiguration, like squats), that by my understanding attempt to do this in particularist ways, on the level of mostly implicit relations within groups of people. Only secondarily, they collate dispositional knowledge in "zines", "theory", "networks", etc, with formal ways of expressing and instantiating this knowledge being a side thought.

This turn to the form, or substrate, of tactics is integral to a possibility of "totalism". That's why we are specifically R&D-ing hypermedia tools (and the neccessary support environment/scaffolding). As CHT believes the communist project critically relies on means of information, the vanguardist format could then only come out of the highest technical expression of that, so, produced in concert with information/knowledge technologists or (per McKenzie Wark) "the hacker class".
Meanwhile, CHT/hackbase crews (in a way, communards) produce non-captured surplus work, greatly extended in quantity and quality by the fact they are mostly removed from the capitalist labour form, and instead embedded in counter-economic forms.
While reproduction (of the CHT, and crews personally) take effort to keep existing, it also produces extensive results that are useful to the general communist project. CHT uses chemical language to express this. The first type of labour — the vanguardist reproduction — is endothermic, and contributes to personal well being of the communards. The second — vanguardist progression — is exothermic, and contributes towards general (local, trans-local and general) communist goals.
Those are ultimately, within the West: to reach the "activation energy" neccessary for a local revolution; and to continously and successfuly prevent interventions from the imperialist core, trying to encroach on successful communistic & anti-imperialistic projects abroad (especially PRC & the global south).

In this, it is one of the means, and purportedly a neccessary one, to catalyze a revolutionary dynamic in the west.
