Keeping dry&warm in cold&moist weather

* synthetic clothes:
    cotton sucks for this. including bedsheets
* synthetic sleeping bags obviously:
    sarcofagus are best as you can really get in fully well
* adjust sleeping rhythm:
    it can be easier to stay up later in the cold+wet weather, and then sleep in when it gets warmer
* ... then you have to keep sunlight out:
    i like to have instant 90% dark curtains set up (also for privacy)
* heat up water for washing your teeth, etc:
    this wasn't obvious for me for some time. (hope you have a useful integrated kitchen)
* obviously, close all drafts in your van:
    door rubbers, some good silicone, curtains, etc
* eat the proper food:
    not sugars, but heavy carbs and especially fats
    drink some olive oil every day (vitamin E)
    magnesium (regulation)
    vitamin C (don't get ill)
    vitamin D (get enough sunlight / supplement, anti-arthritis)
    B vitamins (neuro pathways)
    """The most commonly observed vitamin and mineral deficiencies in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) are:
        folic acid; vitamins C, D, B6, B12, and E; calcium; magnesium; zinc; and selenium"""
* drink warm tea (always keep cooking it a bit)
* the old sailing trick with the rock on gas stove:
    gets moisture out of the space.
    you can warm your feet on it.
    don't do this if you don't know what you're doing, it can explode if it's the wrong kind of rock or you forget about it. handle it with a towel, put it on the floor wrapped in this towel, warm your feet on it. instant onsen :D
* park so you have early sun:
    obviously
* monitor carbon monoxides and general air quality in your van:
    buy a detector, they are cheap, and could save your life (but also monitor for daily air quality)
